ck-1 | Nesting Boilers |
Nesting Boilers were a
staple of the early Colonial period. Usually a person had at least one boiler
that traveled with them. I make the boilers in either Tin or copper. The copper boilers are tinned with 100% lead free solder making them safe for food
preparation. They come in various sizes. With a double bottom seam, side crimp
seam and riveted brackets for the bail and lid ring. Each boiler has a domed
lid with “D” ring style lid handle. The
bail and lid ring pivot for storing but will also stay upright making them easy
to use on the fire grate.
