The Bouthéon was used both for cooking and for transporting the troop's soup, coffee and wine. It was an indispensable item for any soldier. It is made from Bright tinplate with crimped seams and soldered with 100% Lead Free Food Safe Solder. It consists of a tapered kettle with a smaller pan thet nest inside. the kettle has a lid that is attached with a chain.
